Realtime Gaming has caught a lot of criticism over the past few years for their slow pace of offering new games. They haven't come out with as many titles over the past several months as their competition, and that leaves them in dangerous territory of falling down to a lower tier of games. They've answered this in a major way with the Lucha Libre online slot, a game based on the particular style and flair of Mexican professional wrestling. This is a high-action game with a lot of innovative features.

At first glance, this is a 25-payline format game with five reels and three rows. You're limited to a single coin on each payline with coin sizes ranging from $0.01 to $0.25 apiece, so you can bet anywhere from $0.25 to $6.25 per spin. There are three different options for the speed of this game, which is pretty atypical, and there's an integrated auto play option that can be customized with a ton of special settings for up to 1,000 spins. All payouts are left to right except for the scattered wrestling ring in the normal game and bonus rounds, and the scatter red mask is left-to-right except in the Mask of Fiery Doom feature.

Taco Malo shows up in the red mask in this game, and his opponent is Guacamolio. When you get three or more of the scattered wrestling ring, you'll get a payout of 2x, 10x or 200x your total bet size in addition to a chance to choose a finishing move from the top rope. There are three moves to choose from, and you'll get different rewards based on which move you choose and whether you hit it or miss it. You can also get the Mask of Fiery Doom feature which holds the scattered red mask symbol in place on several reels to give you re-spins for getting tons of scattered payouts.

This game is a pretty big deal because it incorporates the overall theme of the Lucha Libre style of professional wrestling in a very serious way. You'll get excellent graphics, a great overall presentation, tons of bonus features and a lot of chances to get good payouts in this game, and that just goes to show that RTG is taking their critics seriously when it comes to their need to come out with more high-quality titles.
